About PPECare

We build for one kind of center, on purpose.

PPECare is operations and clinical documentation software made exclusively for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care centers. Not a generic EHR with a pediatric skin, and not a daycare app with a medical tab.

Why a PPEC-only product

A PPEC center is a regulated medical facility that happens to look like a daycare. Children with medically complex conditions attend during the day and receive skilled nursing, personal care, developmental therapies, and caregiver training in a non-residential setting. That combination produces a documentation burden that general-purpose tools handle badly.

Attendance is not a headcount, it is billing evidence. A care note is not a log entry, it is a signed clinical record. A medication pass is not a checkbox, it is an accountability chain tied to a specific worker at a specific time. Software that treats these as ordinary CRUD screens creates the exact gap that shows up during a survey.

PPECare is designed backwards from that pressure: every screen exists because a surveyor, a payer, or a parent can ask for the record behind it.

The regulatory ground we build on

PPEC is defined and licensed at the state level, and the requirements are specific and public. We design against the actual rule text rather than a general interpretation of “healthcare compliance.”

State requirements change. These links point to the issuing agencies and official code so you can verify the current text yourself rather than trust a vendor summary.

What the product actually covers

PPECare connects the workflows a center runs every day into one operational record, so the care that happened, the documentation that proves it, and the claim that bills for it all describe the same day.

Members and attendance Presence, transport coordination, profile status, and care context.
Clinical notes Structured fields, required checks, staff signatures, approvals, final PDFs.
Medication administration Active orders, administration times, exceptions, and worker identity.
Staff and credentials Roles, access levels, clock activity, and expiring document tracking.
Billing readiness Authorizations, diagnosis order, provider data, and CMS-1500 defaults.
Role-based access Admin, nurse, CNA, driver, front desk, LVN, and superuser paths.

How we work

We ship against real center operations, not a feature roadmap invented in isolation. When a rule changes or a survey finding exposes a gap in how a record is captured, that becomes product work. When a workflow is merely inconvenient but the record is sound, it waits.

We would rather say plainly what the software does not do than oversell it. If a center needs something outside our scope, we say so during the walkthrough.

Talk to us

The fastest way to judge whether PPECare fits your center is a walkthrough against your own workflows. We will show the record chain end to end and answer what it does not handle.
